I have been riding my bicycle around Charlotte since last year. Most times I take a trip down the rail trail to Uptown. The last few days I have been looking to expand my horizons and check out other parts of town. I decided to head down East Boulevard. It has a bike and line and some pretty near sites. I ended up at Freedom Park. This is one of my favorite places to visit in Charlotte. When you think of the ideal park, this is the one that comes to mind. I took a cruise a around the lake and check out the many sites around it. You will see below that it was a beautiful day. It might not have looked like it, but it was freezing that day outside.
