Sometimes the best views are close to home. When everything happened in March of last year, I really did get out a lot because of it. So, I started to practice taking photos near my house. Some were pretty bland, but I had a few that turned out pretty good. The most important part was that I was getting practice in. In order to be better at something, you have to practice at it in order to do it better. Most of the photos I took in the months of March and April of last year were taken about a half a mile from my house. Once I started riding my bike around town, I was able to practice on some other parts of town.

A few weeks ago, I was preparing my camper for the first trip we took in over a year. I used my camper as my remote work space. My wife told me I need to “get my smell” out of the camper before we stay in it again. After I did all of that I was exhausted in the afternoon. After dinner I was just chilling on the couch, and my wife said I should check out the sky during sunset. I really didn’t want to because I felt like I didn’t have any energy left in me. After some persisting, I got up and walked outside with my camera. The sky was amazing! I walked around the neighborhood and took some photos of the sky. It was worth walking around to check out. I also decided to do a little photo editing, and took the cell tower out of the picture.
