The Stream at Anna Ruby Falls

“Waterfalls wouldn’t sound so melodious if there were no rocks in their way.” – Rishabh Gautam

To me one of the most amazing sounds in nature is a waterfall. The fast, flowing water against the landscape is one of the most beautiful sounds in the world. It sounds reminds of the sheer power of water, but it’s constant gentile wave adds a calm to the air. The sound drowns out everything around you, and allows you to focus on the beauty that surrounds you. The air is filled with a cool breeze from the mist of the falls. With the focus of the sounds being the waterfall, you start to focus in on the stream that leads up to it. As you get one step closer to the main falls, you can’t help but to notice the beauty of
every step of the way.

I took these photos while making my way up to Anna Ruby Falls. Every step of the way is amazing and filled with beauty. It is easy to walk up to the falls because of the paved path to it. I couldn’t help but to stop every few feet in order to snap the photos. Instead of 10 minute walk up, it took me about 20 because I kept taking pictures. The closer you get to the actual falls the better the view gets. If you are near Helen, GA this is a must stop while you are there. I have been here a few times, and each time is more amazing than the last.
