Views from the Falls

Go with the flow. Force nothing. Let it happen – trusting that whichever way it goes. It’s for the best.” – Mandy Hale

Sometimes selecting the best view for a shot can be tricky. Some views are better than others. One view might be the best one day depending on the time of day and the lighting conditions, but just like the weather, it is subject to change. When looking for the best view you have to be willing to try out all of the angles. The first shot in this post for instance is I am pretty sure taken from somewhere I wasn’t supposed to stand, but I couldn’t let a good opportunity go to waste.

I took these photos of Toccoa Falls last summer when we took our trip up to Northeast Georgia. This waterfall is located on the campus of Toccoa Falls, my alma mater. I don’t know of many colleges that have waterfalls on campus. It is one of the highest waterfalls in the United States. For those of you who don’t like to hike far too great views, this one is very easy to get to. A very short gravel path takes you right up to the falls. You just have to pay a small fee to access it.
