Painted Sky

“Start where you are. Use what you have. Do what you can.” – Arthur Ashe

Looking back at past photos helps me remember the memories. I took these shots last year while I was riding my back on the rail trail near my house. I was a little on the late side coming back that evening. I think it was because it had started to get darker earlier, and I didn’t realize sunset would sneak up on me so fast. However, I ended up coming home at the perfect time in order to capture these photos. I remember looking up at the sky and thinking about how amazing it looked, and it made me think of a landscape painting. It was an amazing view to come to. Some of my favorite photos are not even the ones I planned on taking. I just happen upon that spot at the right time. I try to always be on the lookout for the great moments to capture.
