The Blooms

“Wherever you go, no matter what the weather, always bring your own sunshine.”
– Anthony J. D’Angelo

It has been cold here in Charlotte this week. Last week, it was a lot warmer here. This week is way different. The coldest part of my day is when I have to take my kids out to the bus. The bus picks them up at 6:30 in the morning, and that is the coldest part of the day! I usually bundle up in multiple layers and have a hot cup coffee out there with me. Fortunately the stop is near our house. While we don’t have to walk far, I just wish it was a little warmer when they are picked up.

Looking at these tree blooms reminds me of warmer weather. I took these last year when all of the trees in Charlotte were blooming. A normal path of green is filled with a sea of pink and white. I took these photos while riding my bicycle on the rail trail in Charlotte. The rail trail is a walking and bike path that go along side the light rail trail, and takes you all the way to Uptown Charlotte. These shots reminds me of the warmer weather that is coming soon.
