Behind the Mill

“I like being in new places and seeing new sights.” – Tom Welling

Have you ever visited a place for years and missed an amazing part of it? I am not one to visit the same place for vacation on multiple occasions. My goal ever vacation is to try to go somewhere new. However, last year my wife wanted to visit where we first met again, and we planned a trip to Northeast Georgia. We took a longer trip than we did last time, and I was surprised by how much I had not seen there before. I had visited the area dozens of times, but the last time I went it felt like I was visiting for the first time.

I took these photos behind the mill that is located outside of Helen, Georgia. This isn’t just a tourist attraction to make you think they process grains there. It is a fully functional mill that processes grain daily. Watching everything work inside was pretty cool. The view outside was amazing. This is one of many locations that you could visit and see while you are in Helen.

  1. An outstanding share! I have just forwarded this onto a coworker who was conducting a little homework on this. And he in fact bought me lunch because I stumbled upon it for him… lol. So allow me to reword this…. Thank YOU for the meal!! But yeah, thanks for spending time to talk about this issue here on your web page.
