“May every sunrise hold more promise and every sunset hold more peace.” – Umair Siddiqui

I am always looking for opportunities to practice my photography. From family gatherings to walks in the park, most times I have my camera in tow. You never know when you are going to stumble upon a great opportunity to take a picture. That is one thing that is nice about having a phone with a great camera. Sometimes an opportunity comes up at random times. Part of being great at photography is being ready, but being ready means having the right equipment at the right time. That can mean having a tripod ready to go, having an extra charged battery ready to go, having a variety of lenses just in case you need to zoom in a little closer, and practice so you can capture that perfect shot at the right time.

I took these shots back in 2018. One night my wife and I were sitting in the living room, and she told me I had to look outside. The sunset was amazing. It was this orange color that created this amazing silhouette of the trees and houses in my neighborhood. Once I saw how amazing it was, I grabbed my camera and ran outside to capture the moment. Good thing my battery was charged and ready to go.
