Visiting Lavandar Fields – Throwback Thursday

“Anyone who has never made a mistake has never tried anything new.” – Albert Einstein

Back in 2019, we took a camping trip up to Delaware. I know what a lot of you are thinking, “Why Delaware?” It started out as a potential place to stop midway on way further up north, but then after checking on our budget I knew we couldn’t go as far as we wanted to. We researched the area around the campground we were staying at, and found out that it was pretty cool. We ended up making it our final destination. We decided to go there because it is actually a pretty cool place. We camped near the beach, and we found there were several awesome places to check out near where we were staying. We took two days to get there from our house because we were bringing our cats with us. The family insists they come with us. The cats ride in the cab of the truck with us. We tried having them ride in the trailer, but that was too much for them.

I took these photos at Lavender Fields at Warrington Manor. My wife has always loved the smell of lavender. When I saw there was a lavender farm near where we were staying, I had to take her. They didn’t have any lavender in the fields, but there were plenty of other things to check out. I snapped shots of a few butterflies, the farm and other great sights. After we walked around, we then headed over to the store and bought some lavender products that they had created in house. It was a pretty cool place to visit, and I recommend checking it out if you are in the area.
