“We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them.” – Albert Einstein

The older I get the more I realize the importance of having time during the day to reflect and think. My time is to think is in morning between the time I put my kids on the bus until I start getting ready for work. I use that time to think about my day, sit while drinking coffee, read, pray, and write. I do have a good chunk of time, and I make sure I have as much time as possible by getting everything ready the night before. I take that time very seriously because I know I need it. I’ve seen the benefits of that time this school year. It has allowed me to go into the day ready for all of the challenges ahead.

I took these photos of this thinking in 2018. We visited the North Carolina Zoo in Asheboro, NC. These guys were just posing for the camera for me. This is a great zoo to visit if you bring your walking shoes. It is difficult to see the whole zoo in one day, but total worth it to try. We took two days to see as much as we could. The reason it takes so long to see everything is the zoo is really spread out, which is great for the animals because they have plenty of room to roam around.
