“During times of crisis, our true colors either shine like a beacon of light or darken the light in others.” – Pam Borton
When you look back at an old photograph, what typically comes to mind first? More often than not for me I remember the location of where I took the photo. I reflect on who I was with, and what was happening. This photo in particular brings up a lot of memories. I took it at Colonial Williamsburg back in 2018. This is back when I took photos with my Nikon D3200. It was a great camera while it lasted, but it didn’t do a good job taking photos in the .raw file format. I remember how hot it was that day. If you can, visit this place in the fall because in the summer it is super hot. It’s funny when I think about it because the restaurants inside the park try to be authentic as possible, and one way they do that is by having natural air conditioning. Needless to say, it was hot while we were eating lunch. They gave you ice with your water, but it melted pretty quickly. I also remember that I had a scooter accident the day before, and I had hurt my knee. It was hurting pretty bad, and I limped around the park all day. This photo is one of my favorites from this trip. I took it near the governor’s house. This way part of the gardens nearby.
