Seasons

“The best way out is always through.” – Robert Frost

For some it might already feel like fall. Several students have already gone back to school for the fall semester. My students came back yesterday. Football season is upon us, and it is considered a fall sport. Labor Day is next week, and for some it marks the end of summer. Pumpkin Spiced Lattes and all pumpkin related flavors have already hit store shelves again. With the feeling that summer is over, we now look forward to the fall season. Personally, I have a reason to like all seasons. I like fall because I am ready for cooler temperatures. However, if it’s fall that means the school year has really just started, and that is my busiest time of the year. For me, the changing of the seasons reminds me that nothing lasts forever. We always have something new to look forward to.

I took these photos on my trip to Gatlinburg last Christmas. I was walking around the area where we were staying. It had rained a lot that week, and so the streams were overflowing.
