“It is easy to sit up and take notice, what is difficult is getting up and taking action.” – Honore de Balzac

If I had to pick my favorite season, I would have to say it is fall. There are a lot of reasons why I love fall.
π‘First, I love the cooler temperatures. It’s that time of the year when you can wear long sleeves or short sleeves, it all depends on what your preference is.
β Second, I refer hot coffee over iced. Don’t get me wrong, I have a cup of iced coffee every afternoon at work in order to help me get through the rest of the day. There is something about a hot cup of coffee on a cool day that is just so satisfying.
π I can’t forget to mention football season.
π Lastly, I love how the leaves change color. It completely changes the look of a landscape every year. I visit many of my favorite spots to take pictures in Charlotte, and it looks different every time.

One of my favorite places to visit in the fall is Curtis Creek near Old Fort, North Carolina. This beautiful creek runs right by the side of the road, so it is easy to get great photos of it any time of the year. Every time we visit it never fails to impress. The last time we visited Curtis Creek was in Fall of 2020. This was the first time we had left town all year because of the pandemic. We all knew that we needed one day to get away from Charlotte, so we headed up to the mountains for a day trip to check things out there.
What is your favorite thing about fall?
