“Fall has always been my favorite season. The time when everything bursts with its last beauty, as if nature had been saving up all year for the grand finale.” – Lauren DeStefano

The best views of fall happen in a very small amount of time. My goal every fall is to capture the beauty of the multiple shades of red, orange, and the left-over greens. However, the time to get those great shots is short.

I have been trying capture the best of fall for the last few weeks. It has not gone too well. I tried to sneak up to the mountains one Sunday and a family emergency came up. I have tried to take photos around Charlotte for the last few weeks, and the weather has not been cooperating.

I finally was able to go out last Saturday. I drove to Uptown Charlotte instead of riding my bicycle that day because my foot has been bothering me for a few days, and I want to rest it in order for it to feel better.

I walked around the Farmer’s Market for a little bit, bought a plant, and walked over to one of my favorite spots to take photo’s Marshall Park.

Right as I arrived at the park, the sun came out, and I walked around every square inch of the park taking pictures because the leaves were just right that day.

My goal every season is to capture all of the beauty it holds. From spring blooms to summer greens, I love to see how the same place can look so different with the change of seasons.
