Riding Through Fall

“Trees are the earth’s endless effort to speak to the listening heaven.” – Rabindranath Tagore

I try to ride my bicycle as much as I can this time of the year. For one, it’s going to be too cold for me to ride. I’m not a big fan of going out when the temperatures are below 50. I am sure some of you out there can take it, but it’s not for me. Second, I love how all of the leaves have fallen off of the trees. It adds so much color to my normal ride. This time of the year brings so much anticipation for the holidays and the new year.

This spot I am riding through is Latta Park in Charlotte, N.C. It is located in the Dilworth Neighborhood. I ride through this park often while either on the way to the greenway or Freedom Park. I could stay on the main road, but this way has such a better view for me to enjoy.

The video below shows my ride through Latta Park that I recorded on my Go Pro.
