“Love may be or it may not, but where it is, it ought to reveal itself in its immensity.” – Honore de Balzac

I love every season for a different reason. I love summer because that means there is no school and the pool is open. I love fall because of the cooler temperatures, the leaves changing and football. I love winter because there is another reason to drink hot coffee other than it tastes good. Then there is spring. Spring brings warmer weather, and everything starts to bloom.

Spring can be an exciting time of the year in Charlotte because there are a lot of trees planted here that bloom every year. The once leafless trees are now covered in a sea of pink and white blooms. Every spring I try to get out as often as possible in order to take pictures of the trees blooming. I ride my bike as many places as possible with my camera in order to capture these beauties. Every year I try, but sometimes I don’t get to all of the locations I want to either due to weather or work restraints.

I took these photos last spring while I was out riding my bike around Uptown Charlotte. Here is a list of my favorite places to take photos in Charlotte during the spring season.
- Marshall Park
- Rail Trail
- First Ward Park
- Fourth Ward Park
- Little Sugar Creek Greenway
- Freedom Park
