I have always enjoyed looking at and putting up outdoor Christmas decorations. If you look at some of the reels on Instagram I posted a month ago, you will see all of the decorations I put in front of my house this year. I am a big fan of inflatables. One, they look really cool in my opinion. Two, they are pretty easy to set up. I started decorating the house more a couple of years ago because the pandemic was keeping us at home more, and I wanted the house to look as festive as possible. I have kept up the tradition ever since then. It brings me joy, and it also brings the neighborhood joy too. I have seen people stop and look in the middle of the road on many occasions. If taking a day to set this up brings someone a moment of happiness, then to me it is totally worth it.
I enjoy going around and looking at Christmas lights around town. Every year Carowinds has a celebration they call Winterfest. They decorate the entire park with Christmas lights and various holiday displays. A couple of nights ago, the family and I bundled up and walked around the entire park riding rides and enjoying the holiday displays around the park. I tried to capture the beauty of the holiday displays the best I could.
