“People who wonder if the glass is half empty or full miss the point. The glass is refillable.” —Unknown

Every journey has a starting point. There has to come a moment when you say it is time to begin. Too often we focus on the destination and not a lot on the journey itself. The benefits come from the journey, and not from the end point. The end point is what we receive when we finish our journey. There is no such thing as the perfect starting point. If we spend too much time looking for the perfect place to start then we might not ever begin. If we procrastinate on getting started because we are looking for the perfect moment, then we might miss out on an opportunity later. If you have a goal you want to achieve, start now. It doesn’t have to be a grand social media worthy moment; it just has to be you taking simple steps to be successful.

Whenever I go on a journey to take photos in Charlotte, I always start at the same place, the Rail Trail. The Rail Trail is a path that runs along the Light Rail Trail in Charlotte, N.C. I ride my bike on the trail through the Southend Neighborhood. There are several great places to stop to relax, get a cup of coffee, or even make your way all the way to Uptown Charlotte. This path is the quickest and easiest way to access different parts of Charlotte.
