“What do you hang on the walls of your mind?” – Eve Arnold
Before the pandemic started, the only time I took pictures was when I traveled out of town. I would try and take as many photos as I could while I was visiting somewhere. When the pandemic started, I realized I wouldn’t be able to travel anytime soon, so I decided to start photographing what I could find around me. Eventually, I started riding my bike around Charlotte, and I would bring my camera with me. I found out there were so many amazing sites right here in my hometown.
I took this photo in 2021 in my neighborhood. I was out in my yard at sunset, and I noticed how beautiful it was. I grabbed my camera and started taking photos. This is an example of a beautiful view that I captured right in my backyard.
