“Tell me, what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?” ― Mary Oliver

I am looking forward to this year. We have a cruise planned, my son moves up from middle school, and I am in the begin phases of planning school teacher summer. I’m not too sure what it will involve yet, but it could involve some camping in the mountains or some new place. So far 2023 is shaping up to be a good year.

I took these photos last fall when I visited Marshall Park in Uptown Charlotte. I try to visit this park at least once every fall. With the leaves changing, it gives you one of the best views of Uptown. It is a pretty easy ride for me on my bicycle with a great payoff. If the sun was out, the buildings would cast a perfect reflection on the water, and the lens would capture every detail. Unfortunately, it wasn’t clear enough that day, but this was the only day I could get out. The scene would does change with every season. From the bright greens of spring to the shades of red and brown in the fall. I would see something different every time. I’m sure most of my shots of Marshall Park look the same to most people, but to me everyone represents a great ride to Uptown with some amazing photos to show.
Autumn is always the special time for me, When I go for hiking, Mountains are clear, forests are changing the color of leaves. Feels joy and happiness.
