There are two times of the year where I try to get as many photos as I possibly can. One time is when the leaves start to change in the fall. The other is when the trees start to bloom. When the trees start blooming it is a different time every year. It depends on when we get that first warm spell in the winter. When that warm spell happens, I try to capture as much as I can with my camera.

I took these photos on Valentines Day last week. I took the day off because I had a doctor’s appointment in the morning, and I had to take my kids to the doctor in the afternoon. During the in between time, I decided to take a walk at the park in order to enjoy some of the sunshine. While I was at the park, I noticed this one tree that appeared to have just finished blooming, and it was in the process of losing all of its blooms. Even with the few blooms it had left, I thought that this was still a tree worth capturing with my camera.

I took these photos at Freedom Park. This is one of my favorite parks in Charlotte. My grandparents used to live near here, and they would take me here every time I would visit. Freedom Park has everything the perfect park should have. A playground, walking trails, ball fields, and a lake to walk around. It’s a great place to bring the family for the day, or just to come and chill out for the day.

Lovely spring blossoms. 😊

Gorgeous photos and flowers! We have many flowering trees here in Victoria, BC as well but weather has delayed our usual preview if Spring. So delighted to see these photos! 😍🤗💕✨
