“It is difficult to say what is impossible, for the dream of yesterday is the hope of today and the reality of tomorrow.” – Robert H. Goddard

One of my favorite things to do is wonder around somewhere and take photos of what I find. Being able to go somewhere and see what I can find. Even if it is somewhere I have been before, I enjoy the journey of either discovering something new or snapping a photo of a scene I have captured before in a new perspective or light.

Last summer, my daughter was part of science summer camp, and one of the weeks had her visiting UNC Charlotte. On the last day of her camp there, the weather was amazing. I decided to bring my bicycle with me, and ride the greenway. After cruising the greenway, I decided to explore the campus to look for the botanical gardens there. I put the destination in my smart watch, and rode all over campus looking for it. It had me turning in the most random places. I ended up at a large fountain in the middle of campus. I stopped her for a while taking some long exposure shots. While I never made it to the botanical gardens, I still was able to see some pretty awesome sites that day.
