“It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.” – Harry S Truman

Whenever we plan our vacation, we always imagine the best possible weather. When I go to the mountains, I think of cool, crisp fall weather. When I think about visiting a historical sight, I imagine how it will be the perfect weather for walking outside that day. When we planned our cruise to the Bahamas, I dreamed of a perfect tropical day filled with sunshine and nice cool breeze from the sea. That did not happen when we visited Nassau. It rained most of the day. We knew it was coming, so we planned our shore excursion to be a bus tour of the city, but that’s not what we thought that day would be like. While it wasn’t the day we imagined, we still had a good time seeing different parts of the city.

I took these photos the day after we went to Nassau. The second day of our cruise was visiting an island called Half Moon Cay. The ship announced that they would be late allowing us to leave the ship. I took advantage of the extra time and took my camera out on the balcony of our room. I didn’t think I would capture any good photos of the island because the overcast, but right as I started to aim my camera at the island the sun came out. From the overcast and rain of the day before to the glorious sunshine. This was the perfect start to our day at the beach at Half Moon Cay.
