“Silence is the sleep that nourishes wisdom.” – Francis Bacon

One of the reasons why I like to go out on my bicycle is because it gives me time where I am forced to not be able to look at a screen. It gives me time to unplug and clear my thoughts. I have considered many life choices while on my bicycle. It is my time away from everything, and it’s my time to process all of the stress and craziness from the previous week.

I took these photos back on Valentines Day. I took the day off from work because I had multiple appointments that day. In between my appointments, I took my camera to the park to take pictures. I didn’t bring my bike with me, but I was still able to see a great deal of Freedom Park. I found this one dogwood tree that was finished blooming and many of the blooms had fallen off. There were a few blooms left that looked like they were hanging on, and I did some close ups of them.
