Why I Post?

“In every day, there are 1,440 minutes. That means we have 1,440 daily opportunities to make a positive impact.” – Les Brown

It’s time that I begin sharing a little more about myself. It’s been a while, and I want make sure that I stay acquainted with my audience. I am going to start sharing different things about myself over the next few days.

My name is Joe. I love to take pictures. I have loved taking photos since I was younger. A few years ago, I decided to invest in my first DSLR camera, and I have been posting those photos on social media ever since. I enjoy sharing the photos I take of the different places I visit. Some of those places are close by, and others are far away from my location. My hope is that you get to see a little of the world through my camera lens. I hope that I am either showing you a new place that you haven’t experienced, or showing you an image of somewhere you have been in order to remind you of the experience.

I took these photos back in March while I was visiting Freedom Park. This is one of my favorite places to ride my bike to in Charlotte. It has a beautiful lake in the middle of the park, wonderful places to sit, and a walking/bike path that runs right by a stream. While I am down in the stream, I don’t feel like I am in the city any more. All I hear is the water rushing by, and I am surrounded by trees. Sometimes I will stay by the stream to clear my thoughts out from the last week, and enjoy the weather when it is clear.
