Your Mood

“Do not let the behavior of others destroy your inner peace.” – Dalai Lama

Something I have noticed lately is that as a society we are letting others determine our mood. Instead of setting the tone ourselves, we allow other people to determine what kind of mood we are in. We often times will allow someone to put us in a poor mood and through us off for the day. We cannot let other people’s decisions determine how we will be. We have to take a step back before their emotions take over ours. When I feel someone’s, mood beginning to affect mine, I try to examine why they are upset. Having empathy for someone goes a long way in being able to control your own mood.

I took these photos when we were on our cruise back in the spring. We had a balcony room on this trip. I loved the view. There were times when I would just sit out on the balcony to enjoy the open seas.
