“We cannot live only for ourselves. A thousand fibers connect us with our fellow men.” – Herman Melville

Good morning, my name is Joe, and I love taking pictures. Taking pictures for me is my way of expressing myself. It’s my way of trying to capture a moment or a scene. The reason why I post the photos I take online is because I want to share with everyone the cool places I have been, and awesome sites that I have seen. I share photos from where I live and from places I have visited on vacation. Today, it’s pretty easy to stay connected to the world thanks to social media. I want to share my world with others. I will try to share tips and tricks I have learned along the way. I also share life lessons I have learned. Too often we hoard knowledge ideas, and doing that does not make the world a better place. I share things I have learned in my life in order to better the lives of others.

I took these photos back in 2020, when we visited Fripp Island for a family vacation. We spent a lot of time fishing, and checking out some of the great places in the area. It was great to just get outside of Charlotte. We hadn’t left town that much because it was the beginning of the pandemic. Here are a few photos I found just looking through the other day, and I saw that I hadn’t posted them until now.

The SC barrier islands are incredible. If you return look for boat trips out to the uninhabited places. Most prohibit landing but close by with small craft are a wildlife treat.

I have taken a small boat threw the jetties near Myrtle Beach, and that was a lot of fun.
