Flowers and Bees

“Every day may not be good… but there’s something good in every day.” – Alice Morse Earle

Whenever I visit different places, I love to take photos in Charlotte, sometimes it’s good and sometimes it’s bad. There sometimes I go out and there are many great opportunities that I barely have the time to capture all of them. From great lighting to flowers blooming, there is a never-ending supply of photo opportunities. There are other days. Sometimes I go out to take photos, and it is super cloudy, crowded or just nothing catches my eye. I try to make the best of the situation that I can, but sometimes it doesn’t work out. While I am disappointed in these moments, I just remind myself that there will be an opportunity for me to try again soon.

I took these photos last weekend. It was the first time I had ridden my bike in over a month. The weather was perfect, and I was dying to get out. I headed over the Uptown Farmers marker for a coffee and a treat. Then I rode over to First Ward Park. When I first pulled up, I saw these beautiful flowers right by the front of the park. I did my best to capture them with my #nikond7500 and my #gopro 10. If you look closely, you might be able to see some bees doing the work that they do.
