“The return we reap from generous actions is not always evident.” – Francesco Guicciardini

We should always make it a goal to be kind and generous to others with the goal of not getting a reward. Often, I see people posting everything they do on social media intending to get accolades for it or gain followers. If we are truly being generous, we will not see the rewards or fruits of what we have done. When we give money to a nonprofit in our community, we don’t get to see the full impact of that donation. I will help other teachers at my school or on social media with something, and I don’t see the full results of that because it’s happening outside of my classroom. Just because we don’t see the results of our kindness does not mean we shouldn’t be kind to one another.

I took this photo on the first day of our cruise during spring break. We paid extra for a balcony room, and this view alone made it worth it.
