Walking Around Nassau

“Adventure is worthwhile.” – Aesop

Back during spring break, while we were at the port, we heard the weather might not be as ideal as we wanted it to be. Many of the TSA agents were telling us they hoped things were going to improve over the next few days while we were at sea. When we arrived in Nassau, it had already been raining most of the morning. Lucky for us, we did check the weather the day before, and decided to have our shore excursion be a bus tour of the city. After we took our tour of the city, my wife and I dropped off the kids, ate lunch, and then decided to walk around a little bit on our own. I had a really good cup of coffee at this coffee shop/cigar store (I know, interesting combination). We did some shopping, and checked out a few sites.

While we were walking around, I took several photos of the various plants and flowers that we walked by. I used my GoPro 10 to take the photos because it was raining, and I didn’t want to get my Nikon Camera wet. I bought the GoPro to be primarily an underwater camera, but I have found even more uses for it. I make most of my videos on it. It does take pretty good photos for being such a small camera, and I don’t have to worry about the weather destroying it.
