“Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work.” – Thomas A. Edison

We like the idea of becoming people. Most of them want to grow in order to be more successful. However, we often try to avoid situations where there will be more pressure because we don’t want to deal with anything difficult. We avoid that difficult conversation we know we need to have because we are scared what the end results might be. We avoid the long project, even though we know that the results will be beneficial for us, but we are scared of the amount of time and sacrifice it might take us to get it done. We often take the easy way out in order to avoid a better long-term solution because of the commitment it would take in order to get it done. We have to see pressure as an opportunity to be successful and to grow us, not something that will destroy us.

I took these photos on my last bike ride down to Uptown Charlotte. I finally had some time to go through and got photos ready to post just yesterday. I went over to First Ward Park, and it was a beautiful bright and clear morning. I set my camera up behind the fountain at UNCC Center City, and I was able to get this great view of Uptown Charlotte.
