To live only for some future goal is shallow. It’s the sides of the mountain that sustain life, not the top. – Robert M. Pirsig

Lately I have been going through some photos that I took last year. Last year, I took a lot of pictures. From the different camping trips, we took to various places around Charlotte, I was able to capture I lot of great places. I am very fortunate to live in a city with some amazing places to see that are pretty easy to get to. There are plenty of opportunities to take photos of different places around town. I have been going through photos, looking for those different gems I took last year to share.

I took these photos at Freedom Park. This is one of my favorite parks in Charlotte. My grandparents used to live near here, and they would take me here every time I would visit. Freedom Park has everything the perfect park should have. A playground, walking trails, ball fields, and a lake to walk around. It’s a great place to bring the family for the day, or just to come and chill out for the day. I love visiting this park, but I don’t come here as often because it takes me a little longer to ride my bike here. Also, the hill on the way back to straight up for almost 2 miles. It is pretty easy to get there but getting back takes some serious effort.
