Getting My Thoughts Out

“Writing, to me, is simply thinking through my fingers.” – Isaac Asimov

I enjoy writing. I look forward to the opportunity to get my thoughts out there, and it helps me process what I am thinking. Recently I have started vlogging on TikTok and Instagram about teaching. Someone recently commented on my Instagram that they started following me because they love my photos, and appreciated hearing the inside scoop about what is happening in education. I started sharing about my teaching experience during the pandemic because many people outside of education did not understand what was happening, and I wanted to share my experience. I found that not only did it help others see what was happening, but it allowed me to process it and have a clearer mindset about it. When I write it does me more good than it does others.

I didn’t ride my bike as much as I wanted to last summer. Sometimes it was raining, and other times I was just too busy. When I did get out, I would bring my camera with me. One of my favorite places to ride to is Marshall Park in Uptown Charlotte, North Carolina. I go there because it is close to the house, and it has a great view of the city.
