One of my favorite things about the tropics is its weather during the winter. A few years ago, at Christmas, we took a cruise from New Orleans to various locations along the Gulf of Mexico. I remember when we left port it was cold and windy. The next day when we woke up the next morning, it was sunny and the weather was perfect. We are planning on doing a trip like this again this year. More details will be shared later.
I took these photos on our last cruise to the Bahamas. It rained most of the day while we were in Nassau. In the afternoon, it finally stopped raining. My wife and I spent the afternoon walking around the different shops near the port. One thing I love about the tropics is how the plants grow all year round, and this means they get huge.
