Fall at My Spot – Throwback 2021

“Where is all the knowledge we lost with information?” – T. S. Eliot

It can be difficult to get the timing right in order to capture the perfect fall landscape photo. The window between when the leaves are changing to when they start to fall off the trees is very short. I only have a few days to capture the perfect photo before the trees are bare for the winter. For me, the only time I can go out and take photos is on the weekend. Last fall, it rained almost every weekend, and I had one of the worst colds ever. I was able to drive out to a couple of places last year and snap some photos, but the weather didn’t permit me to get out during the peak times. Fortunately, this year I was able to go to the mountains already, and take some great photos. Hopefully, I will be able to take some photos around Charlotte pretty soon.

I took this shot a couple of years ago when the weather was perfect. I was able to ride my bike to Marshall Park. The weather was perfect that day. The wind was calm, the skies were clear, and I don’t remember it being that cold. Hopefully I will have this same opportunity this fall.
