A life spent making mistakes is not only more honorable, but more useful than a life spent doing nothing. – George Bernard Shaw

What has the weather been like for the last couple of weeks? Last week for me, it went from 80 degrees to 50 degrees in one day. It was hot one day and cold the next. Now that it has cooled off, the leaves are starting to change and fall off the trees. In a few days, every single leaf will be on the ground. My question is, do you miss spring yet? Spring and fall are my preferred seasons. Both seasons mean I have something to look forward to soon. When fall arrives, it means Thanksgiving and Christmas are coming. Two holidays that I look forward to every year. In the spring, I have summer to look forward to, and for a school teacher like myself, that means I have summer break to look forward to. Both seasons are great to me, let me know in the comments which one you look forward to the most.

I took these photos a couple of years ago at Freedom Park in Charlotte, North Carolina. I have been spending time at Freedom Park since I was a kid. The park features several playgrounds, ball fields, a lake with a walking path around it, and it is connected to the Little Sugar Creek Greenway. I have many memories of this park, from bike rides with my son to being attacked by a goose when I was younger. Whenever I visit this park, it reminds me of all of those great memories.
