Take Advantage

Too often, we let time come and go. We don’t maximize the time we have and wonder where it went. I try to take advantage of the time I have. One of the reasons I became a teacher was for the holidays. I didn’t realize when I signed up I would earn every day off I have ever had, but I do like the fact that I am off for an extended period. I use the off days to spend time with family. For many of the holidays days, we go on trips, do activities together or just spend time together as a family. I try to take advantage of the time I have before it is too late.

I took advantage of the long weekend by taking a day trip to the mountains with my son. I was able to take a lot of photos with my camera from landscape shots to long-exposure shots of Curtis Creek. It was a great trip not only for the views but to also spend time with my son.
