Yes, It’s a Little Cold – Throwback 2018

“The first fall of snow is not only an event; it is a magical event. You go to bed in one kind of a world and wake up in another quite different, and if this is not enchantment then where is it to be found?” – J. B. Priestley

For the last few days, it has been a little colder than normal. The way I set my heat, it’s cooler in my house in the evenings. It’s been so cool with it being so warm in the bed that I have been struggling to get up in the morning. It just feels so nice to stay in bed. Apparently, this is the winter that Charlotte should be getting some snow. I have mixed feelings about the snow. I love to look at, and hang out in it for a couple of days. However, when it starts to linger and not go away, I’m not a fan. To me it gets dirty and nasty, and you really can’t enjoy it any more. Typically, we don’t get that much snow in Charlotte, but when we do people panic. Actually, they panic when the weather forecast calls for some snow. If there is a slight chance of snow in Charlotte, I guarantee you will not find any bread, milk or eggs at the store.

Since it has been so cold lately, I wanted to share with you some photos I took back in 2018. We had really good snow that year. I took all of these photos while walking around the neighborhood right after most of it came down the night before.
