My favorite thing about the tropics is how you have beautiful flowers all the time. It doesn’t matter if it is summer or winter, there are always some colorful blooms to be seen. I love seeing the most especailly in the winter. In Charlotte, where I am at right now, all of the leaves are off the trees, and there is not anything remotely blooming right now. Everything looks depressing. However, right now in the tropics, the flowers are still blooming strong, and have no signs of slowing down.
I took these photos during my last trip to Nassua, Bahamas. We took a cruise thee during spring break back in April. While it rained most of the day, I still was able to walk around and take some pretty cool photos of the area.
