“You cannot do a kindness too soon, for you never know how soon it will be too late.” – Ralph Waldo Emerson

The holidays can be a crazy time. I know for me; we have had something going on every weekend since Thanksgiving. From holiday parties to family gathers, we have had something going on every weekend. There hasn’t been a dull moment. For some, this time of the year can be “fun” busy, and for others the holidays might not be something they are looking for too. From working in retail to dreading seeing certain people over the holidays. We do not know what people are going through this holiday season, and that is why we should take the time to be kinder to people. We should always be kind, but this holiday season we should strive to be kinder. If you have to wait a while in line while shopping, don’t take it out on the cashier. If your coffee doesn’t come out just right, say something, but be patient. You never know how many times that person has been yelled at today for having one sugar too many in their latte. This holiday season, be a little kinder, and you might just get a little back.

Kindness has beauty and can happen anywhere. Just like wildflowers. Last October, the family and I took a trip to Jeter Mountain Farms for a day of eating apple doughnuts and apple picking. This field of wildflowers is just by the main entrance. I tried to capture the beauty of this field the best I can.
