Missing This View

I love a good sunrise or sunset. Both are exciting to me. I think I like sunrise more because in order to see it, I have to wake up early. I have seen more sunrises on my way to work this school year because I teach at an earlier starting school. Sometimes showing up to work when it’s dark isn’t that much fun, but being able to pull up on a good sunrise makes it a little better. To me seeing a sunrise requires more effort and planning. It’s not that I don’t enjoy both, it’s just that I like sunrises more.

On the last cruise we went on, I wasn’t able to capture a single sunrise shot because the weather was uncooperative. Most mornings it was either cloudy or rainy. Fortunately, I was able to capture some pretty amazing sunsets on this trip. This one was from the first night we were on the cruise that we took during spring break back in April of this year. I snapped this one right from our balcony. I am looking forward to being able to snap more shots of sunrise and sunset from the sea soon. We have a couple more trips planned that will hopefully give me an opportunity.
