“We pass through this world but once.” – Stephen Jay Gould

The year 2023 is almost over. The start of a new year brings about promise for the good and the bad. We always say to ourselves that the next year is always going to be better than the previous year. I remember thinking how 2020 was going to be a great year, and boy was I wrong. What I did learn that year is there are things that I cannot control, but for those things that I can, I have to have habits and plans in place for them to be successful. We can’t see success unless we plan for it. In 2024, I am looking for small changes that I can make in order for it to be the best year yet. I am looking forward to 2024. It is shaping up to be a great year for me family wise, financially, job wise and faith wise in general.

As the sun is setting this year, I wanted my last post of 2023 to be of the sunset captured while we were on our cruise last week. I took this photo somewhere over the Atlantic Ocean. Somewhere between Charleston, South Carolina and the Bahamas. It was one of my favorite sunsets that I have captured.
