Just Ask

“All of us, at certain moments of our lives, need to take advice and to receive help from other people.” – Alexis Carrel

I have this thing where I like to seem like the guy with all the answers, and I prefer to figure out my problems on my own. I like to think that I am equiped to handle everything under the sun, but the fact of the matter is I don’t know everything. One thing I have been working on for the last few years is taking advantage of the help others offer me. There are many things I can do on my own, but with help I can do those things better and more effeciently. There is nothing wrong with asking for help. The problem come when we need it, and we don’t ask.

I took these photos last fall while I was visiting the Little Sugar Creek Greenway near Uptown Charlotte. I enjoy this spot because it doesn’t feel like you are in the middle of the city. The sound of the creek masks all of the other sounds around you. It’s a great spot to stop, listen, and clear your head.
