“The sole meaning of life is to serve humanity.” – Leo Tolstoy

One thing I enjoy about Charlotte is when the trees start blooming every year. We usually don’t see the blooms until Match, but last year they started blooming in late January because we had a warm winter. It hasn’t been as warm this winter. We have had a few warm days here and there, but overall, it has been cooler compared to last year. While I am glad it is cooler because it could mean a snow day is on the horizon, I still miss the things I like to do when it is warmer. I haven’t been able to ride my bike on the weekends because it has been too cold or rainy. I know spring is coming, and I will be able to ride more soon.

I took these photos last February while I was walking around Freedom Park. I took the day off in order to handle some doctor appointments and life in general. I had some time in-between, so I took a walk in the park on a Tuesday.
