At work yesterday, one of the teacher assistants at my school saw me in the morning and said that she saw my photography on the Next-door app. I recently started posting some of my local photos with a link to a blog post with more. She started asking me why I do it, and here is how I responded.
😉 One, I enjoy it. I enjoy getting out, taking photos, and then looking at what I captured.
💻 Two, I have always enjoyed doing things on the computer, and photography gives me another excuse to do it.
🌳 Three, I love being out in nature. Some of my favorite vacations are when I’m out hiking or enjoying being outdoors. Even in my hometown of Charlotte, I have places I can hang out outdoors. Photography gives me an excuse to be outside.
🖼 Four, photography is how I capture great memories.
Overall, I take photos because it gives me a way to express myself, and it helps me relieve stress. Having this outlet allows me to keep myself grounded and focused.
