One of my favorite places to visit is the mountains of North Carolina. In about 2 hours, I can be in some of the best places in the state. I try to visit there at least once a year in the fall. My favorite time to visit in the fall is right after the peak color change. I love it when most of the leaves have already changed, and I can see the trees and ground filled with oranges and browns.

I have a few spots that I like to visit, but one of my favorites is Curtis Creek near Old Fort, North Carolina. The road that runs by the creek has incredible views that you can see right from your car. I took these photos at one place I stopped at.
