They’re Back

“Little minds are tamed and subdued by misfortune; but great minds rise above them.” – Washington Irving

One thing I love about Charlotte, North Carolina is that the city is filled with blooming trees. Around this time every year they start to bloom. All winter most of the smaller trees have been nothing but large sticks in the ground for the last few months. Now they are covered in blooms. The blooms change the entire look of the city while they are out.

The trees keep their blooms for a short time. Blink and next you know the blooms have already fallen off, and they are on the ground. The last few weeks have been super busy for me, so I haven’t been able to ride my bike around Charlotte and take photos. I didn’t want to miss an opportunity to capture the trees while they were blooming, so on Sunday I brought my camera with me while I was running errands just in case. At the Chick-fil-a near my house, I saw that the trees they had were all blooming. So, I pulled up in the parking lot, and took photos of the trees with my camera. It was the one time I pulled into a Chick-fil-a with no intentions of getting food.
