At the beginning of this year, I did a get to know you post, and since then I’ve had a lot of new followers. I wanted to take a moment and share a little bit more about me. Some of these things you might know from following me, and some things might be new information. You might be surprised to find out you have more in common with a 5th-grade teacher from North Carolina who loves photography than you thought.
I am a product of the eighties. Be believe it or not, I was born in the early 80’s, so I was able to experience some of that glorious decade. I would like to think that I look young for a guy born in the 80’s, but maybe having teenagers has aged me.
I am an only child. The reason why I don’t have siblings is complicated, but there are perks to being an only child and some complications. After seeing you might be thinking it all makes sense.
If you have followed me for a while, you might have seen in my stories that I love to grill. I have two grills, a @recteq_official pellet grill, and a @blackstoneproducts outdoor griddle. When all of the restaurants were closed I still wanted good food, so I started to get serious about my outdoor cooking. I take it seriously because one food is expensive and two I like eating at home. If I’m going to eat at home, it’s going to be good.
Just about all of the photos I take in Charlotte are when I ride my bicycle around town. I live close enough to Uptown Charlotte where I can get there in about 20 to 30 minutes. Riding my bike is when I unplug and clear my head so I can be focused on what’s coming.
