“You can’t wait for inspiration. You have to go after it with a club.” – Jack London

Normally, I am an early riser. You might have noticed this because many of my posts are done before 6:30 EST. I get around 5:30 most mornings. The main reason is because both of my kids get on the bus for school around 6:00 am. When I sleep in, I usually sleep till 7:30. While that might not sound that late, it’s two hours from my normal wake up time. I guess you can guess I get up early. I used to not be this way, but it because a necessity when my kids started middle school. I used to think getting up at 7 was early. Times have changed.

Even when I am on vacation, I typically get up early. The best part about that is being able to see the sunrise over the ocean. Last spring break, we took a cruise to the Bahamas, and our first stop was Nassau. This was our third time visiting Nassau. This was our first time visiting when it wasn’t raining. I wanted to take advantage and see the sunrise, and it did not disappoint. I took several shots of the sunrise. Here are a few of my favorites.
Are you an early person when it comes to vacation? Let me know in the comments.
