One of my favorite places to visit in the North Carolina mountains is Linville Falls. The best view of the falls is only a short hike away from the parking lot. Located near Grandfather Mountain and the Blue Ridge Parkway, this majestic set of falls is a must see when traveling through North Carolina. The town of Marion, N.C. isn’t too far, and has some great shops and restaurants to check out.
This is only a small sampling of the photos I took the last time I visited. The family and I hung out here for about an hour enjoying the beautiful falls and the surrounding nature.
